The brief:

We have delivered this renowned annual conference, exhibition, and gala awards dinner since 2011. This year, our primary focus was on elevating the event’s reputation, ensuring it continued to be a highlight in the industry calendar and a key driver of business growth, along with:

  • Bringing together partners and suppliers and fostering new connections through networking.
  • Attracting the right attendees and decision-makers to the event.
  • Showcasing industry-leading topics and speakers.
  • Highlighting supplier products with dedicated exhibition spaces.
  • Celebrating industry achievements with a Gala Dinner featuring awards and high-class entertainment.

 

 

 

The solution:

To meet the event goals, we devised a strategy that combined creativity, sustainability, and attention to detail:

• We crafted an immersive, sea-inspired welcome dinner with branded decor, entertainment, and surprise elements. The aim was to encourage relaxed networking and ensure every attendee had a memorable experience from the start.
• Our creative team held multiple sessions to ensure a unified vision across the event. The “Golden Thread” concept tied together all aspects—from messaging and branding to touchpoints and experiences.
• We managed the largest exhibition to date, with 173 stands showcasing a high-quality selection of suppliers. We ensured the expo facilitated strong connections and long-term partnerships.
• Our design team took charge of every design component you could imagine, including banners, screens, and expo stands. Eco-friendly branding was a key focus, with recyclable banners and print materials that reduced waste while delivering high-impact visuals.
• We concluded the event with a dazzling Moulin Rouge-themed gala, complete with glamorous décor and entertainment. The evening served as a fitting celebration of the hard work and achievements within the industry.

The results:

The results were exceptional:

  • 530 attendees at the welcome dinner
  • 500 attendees at the conference sessions
  • 541 attendees at the gala dinner
  • 600+ attendees at the expo
  • 173 exhibition stands

With the largest expo in the event’s history, we saw an incredible 31.9% growth rate in attendance and a 55.9% retention rate, reflecting the growing influence and loyalty within the industry. The event provided better value for money than ever before, with more attendees and a broader range of high-quality exhibitors.

Each year, the event grows in popularity and adds mutual value for attendees, suppliers, and partners. As the event continues to evolve, we will remain committed to listening to feedback and refining our approach. Our goal is to ensure that this annual industry event exceeds expectations in the years to come, cementing its place as the leading event in the construction industry.

Feedback

The Chairman called the 2024 conference the best he had attended, praising the vibrant atmosphere of the expo and the professional delivery. Suppliers echoed this sentiment, highlighting the event’s relevance in today’s economic climate.
